At Prestige External Cleaning we clean and refurbish all types of driveways from block paving to concrete.

We use modern industrial high-powered pressure washers.  Our machines are meticulously serviced and maintained insuring that they won’t leak and leave stains or spillages at your property.  

 

With block paving cleaning, the re-application of kiln-dried sand is included in the price we quote, as is the application of weed control. We don’t offer the option for sand to not be re-applied for a good reason.  We work by the rule that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing it well.   Sand in between block paving is an integral part of the structure, and without it the blocks would eventually shift and lose shape and generally affect the look of the driveway. Also the deep chasms between the blocks act as a trap for dirt and muck creating an ideal place for weeds and grass to form deep roots. At Prestige, we get a significant amount of work from customers who have used their own pressure washer the year before to clean their driveway, but who haven’t applied a weed killer or replaced the kiln-dried sand. In these instances, it is noticeable that their driveways nearly always have rich crop of weed and grass growth showing through the blocks, often worse than it had previously been.

 

We will apply a weed killing treatment when necessary. This is something we like to do to ensure a more thorough job, and which is included in the price. 

 

With concrete or tarmac driveways the job can be done a little bit quicker and cheaper as there is no need for the use of sand and normally we don’t need as much weed treatment.
